Welcome to BrideDesire
Thank you for choosing BrideDesire.

4. About Our Products
BrideDesire sells exclusive wedding dresses and accessories with a focus on quality, design, and fit. The vast majority of our wedding dresses are only manufactured after the order has been completed. Therefore, as a rule, these are made-to-order items and not stock items.
Many of our dresses feature hand-sewn details such as lace, embroidery, beads, or appliqués. Minor variations may therefore occur from dress to dress. These variations are a natural part of the handcrafted work and are not considered defects or deficiencies.
5. Product Information
BrideDesire strives to describe all products as accurately and comprehensively as possible. Product descriptions, images, videos, sizing information, and other information are intended to provide the customer with the best possible basis for choosing the right dress.
Minor variations may occur in, among other things:
- color shades
- fabric structure
- lace placement
- embroidery
- beadwork
- length
- train design
These variations are due to the handcrafted nature of the product and do not constitute a defect, provided that the product substantially corresponds to the model ordered. Furthermore, colors may be perceived differently depending on screen type, lighting conditions, and individual display settings.
6. Product Images
BrideDesire uses professional product images to present the products as realistically as possible. Product images may be taken under special lighting conditions or subsequently color-processed to best reflect the appearance of the product. Colors may therefore appear slightly different on different screens. Any accessories such as veils, shoes, gloves, jewelry, or other products are only included if explicitly stated in the product description.
7. Materials
BrideDesire uses carefully selected materials, which may include, among others:
- Satin
- Mikado
- Chiffon
- Tulle
- Lace
- Organza
- Glitter tulle
- Crepe
- Mesh
- Lining fabrics
The structure and appearance of the materials may vary slightly from production to production. This is due to the natural properties of the materials and does not constitute a defect in the product.
Dresses with hand-sewn details may likewise have minor individual variations, highlighting the exclusive and handcrafted nature of the product.
8. Prices
Prices are displayed in the currency selected by the customer. For deliveries within the EU, prices include applicable VAT. For deliveries outside the EU, local customs duties, import VAT and handling fees may apply and are paid by the customer. Shipping costs and the final total are clearly displayed at checkout before the order is completed. The currency and final amount confirmed at checkout and in the order confirmation apply to the purchase.
BrideDesire reserves the right to make adjustments due to:
- price changes
- changes in duties and taxes
- exchange rate changes
- printing errors
- technical errors
- sold-out items
- system errors beyond our control
If a price due to an obvious error is stated substantially incorrectly, BrideDesire is not obligated to deliver the product at the erroneous price. In such cases, the customer will be contacted as soon as possible with a view to a solution. The price that appears upon completion of the order and is confirmed in the order confirmation is the applicable price for the purchase.
9. Payment
BrideDesire accepts the payment methods specified in the webshop at the time of order placement. Payment is processed via a secure and encrypted payment solution that complies with applicable security standards. For security reasons, BrideDesire does not store the customer's payment card details. When purchasing standard products, the amount is reserved upon order placement and charged when the order is dispatched, unless otherwise provided by applicable legislation.
For products manufactured to the customer's specifications or clearly personalized, payment may be collected earlier if this is lawful and clearly disclosed in connection with the order. If payment cannot be completed, the order will be automatically canceled, unless otherwise agreed.
10. Ordering
When the customer places an order via BrideDesire.com, an automated acknowledgment that the order has been received is first sent. This automated receipt does not constitute a final acceptance of the order. The purchase agreement is only deemed concluded once BrideDesire has sent an order confirmation to the email address provided by the customer. It is the customer's responsibility to verify that:
- the name is spelled correctly
- the delivery address is correct
- the email address is correct
- phone number is correct
- ordered products are correct
- size is correctly selected
If the customer discovers errors after placing the order, BrideDesire should be contacted as soon as possible. BrideDesire cannot guarantee that changes can be implemented if production has already commenced. BrideDesire reserves the right to reject or cancel an order in the event of:
- obvious pricing errors
- technical errors
- payment issues
- suspected fraud or abuse
- force majeure
- out-of-stock items
- errors in inventory or product data
If an order is cancelled, any amounts received will be refunded as soon as possible.
11. Production
Most wedding dresses at BrideDesire are made only after the order has been completed. Production usually commences after the order is confirmed and the necessary information has been received. Many of our dresses are crafted with hand-sewn details, which means production time may vary. Production may be affected by, among other things:
- seasonal fluctuations
- supplier capacity
- national holidays
- transport conditions
- access to materials
- other factors beyond BrideDesire's control
If a significant delay occurs, BrideDesire will inform the customer as soon as possible with an updated estimated delivery time. We recommend that the customer orders her dress at least 3-6 months before the wedding to allow sufficient time for both delivery and any alterations.
12. Delivery
The expected delivery time is stated in the product description or order confirmation. Delivery time depends on the individual dress and is specified on the product page. Total delivery time is either 2–4 weeks or 8–10 weeks from order placement until the customer receives the dress, including standard transit time. Delivery times are indicative and may be affected by, among other things:
- production time
- transport
- customs clearance
- holidays
- force majeure
- other unforeseen circumstances
BrideDesire collaborates with professional carriers to ensure safe delivery. Delivery is deemed completed when the item has been delivered to the address or pick-up point selected by the customer when ordering. If the customer fails to collect a parcel or refuses to receive it without lawful grounds, BrideDesire may charge the actual costs associated with return and any re-shipment, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
13. Transfer of Risk
The risk in the goods passes to the customer when the customer or a third party designated by the customer acquires physical possession of the goods. If the customer has selected a carrier not offered by BrideDesire, the risk may pass earlier in accordance with applicable law. If the customer has authorised the carrier to leave the package without a receipt or at an agreed location, risk passes when the package has been delivered in accordance with that agreement. BrideDesire recommends that valuable deliveries be received in person or delivered to a secure pick-up point.
14. Receipt of the Goods
We recommend that the customer inspect the goods as soon as possible after receipt. The inspection should include verifying:
- that the correct model has been delivered
- that the correct size has been delivered
- that the colour corresponds to the order
- that the item has no visible transit damage
- that the packaging is intact
If the packaging is visibly damaged upon delivery, it is recommended that this be noted with the carrier where possible. If defects, deficiencies, or transit damage are ascertained, BrideDesire should be contacted as soon as possible with a description of the issue and preferably photos of the packaging and product. We further recommend that the original packaging be retained until the customer has inspected the item and decided whether to keep it.
15. Right of Withdrawal
For consumers in Denmark, the EU/EEA, and the UK, a 14-day right of withdrawal generally applies to purchases made on BrideDesire.com. The period runs from the day on which you, or a person designated by you, receive the item. If the order comprises multiple items delivered separately, the period runs from the receipt of the last item.
Customers in the US are not covered by the European statutory right of withdrawal, but are instead covered by BrideDesire's separate US return policy with a 7-day return period. The US policy can be found at bridedesire.com/pages/returns-us.
If you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify BrideDesire prior to the expiration of the period. The notification must be sent in writing by email to: returns@bridedesire.com.
It is sufficient that the notification is sent before the expiration of the withdrawal period. After the notification has been sent, the item must be returned no later than 14 days later, cf. §17.
You may inspect and try on the item to the extent necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item, in the same manner as you would be permitted to do in a physical store. You are only liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the item beyond this, cf. §20.
BrideDesire recommends that the BrideDesire Try-On Security Tag (Return Tag) remains attached during trying on. A removed tag does not automatically result in the forfeiture of the right of withdrawal or the rejection of the return, but may form part of the specific assessment of the condition of the item, cf. §18.
The customer pays standard return shipping costs where this is informed and lawful, cf. §17.
BrideDesire may withhold reimbursement until the item has been received back, or until the customer has supplied proof of having returned the item, whichever is earliest, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Any documented diminished value will be deducted, cf. §20. See detailed rules on reimbursement in §21.
Mandatory local consumer rights always apply where they provide you with better rights than BrideDesire's policies.
16. Custom-made Goods
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products manufactured to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalized, cf. applicable law. This may include, among other things:
- production according to individual measurements
- alterations to length
- alterations to sleeves
- alterations to neckline
- alterations to back
- special color requests
- other personal modifications made specifically for the customer
If an ordered dress is produced as a standard model without individual alterations, the standard right of withdrawal applies, unless otherwise provided by law.
If the customer is in doubt as to whether an order is considered a custom-made item, BrideDesire recommends that the customer contacts us before completing the order.
17. Returns
Returns are made at the customer's own expense and risk, unless otherwise provided by applicable law.
We recommend returning the item with tracking and adequate transport insurance.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that the item is securely packaged during return transit.
To protect the exclusive materials, BrideDesire recommends using the original packaging if possible. If the original packaging is no longer available, the item should be packaged in a manner that provides equivalent protection during transport.
Returns must be sent to the address provided by BrideDesire in connection with the return.
Packages sent cash on delivery (COD) or to parcel shops without prior agreement will not be accepted.
18. Return Tag Policy
All wedding dresses from BrideDesire are delivered with an original “DO NOT REMOVE – Return Guarantee” tag.
This tag is part of BrideDesire's quality and return control and makes it possible to document that the dress has not been used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics, and functioning.
We therefore recommend that the tag remains attached throughout trying on.
To protect both the customer and BrideDesire, the tag should only be removed once the customer has made the final decision to keep the dress. If the tag is removed or damaged, this will be considered a significant element in assessing the condition of the item in the event of a return.
A removed Return Tag does not automatically mean that a return will be rejected. BrideDesire always performs an individual assessment of the item in accordance with applicable law. If the removed tag or other handling shows that the item has been used beyond what is necessary to inspect it, this may result in a diminished value, which will be deducted from the reimbursement to the extent permitted by law.
Note: The purpose of the Return Tag is to protect both the customer and BrideDesire by documenting that the dress remains in an unused condition beyond normal trying on.
19. Inspection of Returned Goods
All returned items undergo a visual inspection upon receipt. The purpose of the inspection is to assess the condition of the item and ensure that any reimbursement is made on a correct basis. The inspection may include, among other things:
- model
- size
- Return Tag
- labels
- seams
- zippers
- buttons
- lace
- beads
- embroidery
- train
- lining
- visible stains
- makeup
- perfume
- deodorant
- smoke or other odors
- pet hair
- damage
- signs of wear
- alterations or adjustments
If necessary for the processing of the case, BrideDesire may photograph the item as documentation.
20. Diminution of value
You are only liable for any diminution in the value of the item resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the item, in accordance with applicable legislation. A bridal gown may therefore be tried on in the same way as it could be tried on in a physical bridal boutique. If the item has been handled beyond this, BrideDesire may reduce the refund by an amount corresponding to the documented diminution of value. In the assessment, weight may be given to, among other things:
- missing Return Tag
- missing original labels
- stains
- odors
- damage
- alterations
- inadequate packaging upon return
- other circumstances affecting the resale value of the item
BrideDesire always makes an individual assessment of the specific item.
21. Refund
Once a returned item has been received and inspected, BrideDesire will refund the purchase price without undue delay and at the latest within the deadline stipulated by applicable legislation.
BrideDesire processes the refund within 7 calendar days after receiving the returned item. This does not limit statutory deadlines or the customer’s rights.
The refund will be made to the same payment method that the customer used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
If a documented diminution of value is established, the remaining amount will be refunded after deduction of the diminution of value.
BrideDesire may withhold the refund until the item has been received back, or the customer has provided documentation that the item has been returned, whichever occurs first.
22. Right of complaint
When you shop with BrideDesire as a consumer, you have a 24-month right of complaint in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The right of complaint covers defects or flaws that were present at the time of delivery. If an item is defective, BrideDesire is generally entitled to choose between:
- remedying the defect
- replacement
- an appropriate price reduction
- or refund of the purchase price, provided the conditions for this are met under applicable legislation
The right of complaint does not cover issues resulting from:
- normal wear and tear
- improper use
- inadequate storage
- accidents
- lack of maintenance
- natural aging of materials
- alterations carried out by the customer or a third party
- damage arising after delivery that is not due to an original defect
Wedding dresses are delicate products, and the right of complaint therefore does not cover issues resulting from inappropriate handling or storage after delivery.
23. Complaint procedure
If the customer wishes to lodge a complaint regarding a product, BrideDesire recommends doing so as soon as possible after the defect is discovered. A complaint should be sent by e-mail to: returns@bridedesire.com.
To ensure prompt processing, we recommend that the customer attach:
- order number
- name
- description of the defect
- photos of the product
- any video, if the defect can best be demonstrated in this manner
BrideDesire may in some cases request additional documentation or that the item be sent for further inspection.
The customer should not have repairs or alterations carried out on the item before BrideDesire has had the opportunity to assess the complaint, as this may hinder the assessment of the original defect.
We strive to process complaints as quickly as possible and will keep the customer informed throughout the process.
24. Sizes
All BrideDesire's wedding dresses are produced according to our official size chart.
It is the customer's responsibility to select the size that fits best based on body measurements.
We always recommend that the customer selects a size based on the body's largest measurement.
If bust, waist, and hips correspond to different sizes, it is generally recommended to select the largest size and subsequently have the dress altered by a local tailor.
BrideDesire is happy to offer guidance on size selection, but the final decision regarding size choice rests with the customer, unless expressly agreed otherwise.
25. Taking measurements
To achieve the best possible result, BrideDesire recommends that measurements be taken by another person. Measurements should be taken:
- wearing light clothing
- standing upright
- without shoes
- using a flexible measuring tape
- following the instructions on BrideDesire.com
If the customer is in doubt about their measurements or size, we recommend contacting BrideDesire prior to ordering. Incorrect measurements or size selection do not in themselves constitute a defect in the product.
26. Alterations
Minor alterations are a natural part of the process when purchasing a wedding dress. Even exclusive wedding dresses often require individual adjustments to achieve the optimal fit. BrideDesire therefore recommends that the customer has the dress altered by an experienced tailor after receipt. Alterations should only be initiated once the customer has verified that:
- the correct model has been delivered
- the correct size has been delivered
- the correct color has been delivered
- there are no defects or deficiencies in the product
BrideDesire does not cover expenses for subsequent alterations unless this follows from mandatory legislation or has been agreed in writing.
27. Prior to the first fitting
In order to protect the exclusive materials and ensure that the dress continues to appear in the same condition as upon delivery, BrideDesire recommends the following prior to the first fitting:
- Take a full-body bath prior to the fitting.
- Ensure that the skin is clean and dry.
- Refrain from applying perfume, body lotion, oil, or self-tanner immediately prior to the fitting.
- Refrain from applying deodorant right before the fitting.
- Wait to apply makeup, foundation, and lipstick until after the dress has been tried on for the first time.
- Wash hands thoroughly before handling the dress.
- Ensure that nails are clean and free of sharp edges.
- Remove or exercise caution with jewelry, watches, and accessories that could catch on the fabric.
- Ensure that the floor is clean and dry.
- Keep pets away from the area during the fitting.
- Avoid food, beverages, smoke, and candles near the dress.
- Always leave the original “DO NOT REMOVE – Return Guarantee” tag attached during the fitting.
These recommendations help protect the dress against stains, odors, and damage, making it easier to assess the condition of the item in the event of a return.
28. Care and storage
After receipt, BrideDesire recommends that the dress be stored:
- dry
- clean
- at normal room temperature
- out of direct sunlight
- away from humid environments
- away from smoke and strong odors
We recommend that the dress be stored in the included garment bag or an equivalent breathable storage bag. Avoid plastic bags or airtight packaging for extended periods, as this may affect the properties of the materials. If the dress is stored for several months prior to the wedding, BrideDesire recommends checking the storage conditions at regular intervals. If steaming is required, it is recommended that this be performed with great care or by a professional experienced with bridal gowns.
29. Quality control prior to dispatch
At BrideDesire, quality is a fundamental part of the customer experience. Before an order is dispatched, the product undergoes a visual quality control inspection aimed at ensuring that the item appears in the condition BrideDesire expects upon delivery. The inspection may include, among other things:
- check of model
- check of size
- check of color
- check of fabric
- check of seams
- check of zippers
- check of buttons
- check of lace
- check of beads and appliqués
- check of train
- check of lining
- inspection for visible stains or defects
- inspection of original labels
- inspection of Return Tag
- inspection of packaging
Quality control is performed to reduce the risk of errors and ensure a consistently high standard.
30. Customer responsibility
To ensure the best possible processing of the order, the customer is responsible for:
- providing correct contact information
- providing the correct delivery address
- selecting the correct size
- checking the order confirmation
- inspecting the item upon receipt
- following BrideDesire's instructions regarding fitting, care, and storage
- contacting BrideDesire as soon as possible in the event of errors or defects
- storing the item safely after receipt
If the customer becomes aware of errors in the information provided, BrideDesire should be contacted as soon as possible.
31. Communication
BrideDesire primarily communicates electronically.
Order confirmations, delivery details, complaints, return instructions, and other customer service matters are normally sent via email.
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure that the provided email address is correct and that messages from BrideDesire can be received. The customer should therefore also check any spam or junk mail folders.
If the customer changes their email address or phone number after placing the order, it is recommended that BrideDesire be informed as soon as possible.
32. Limitation of liability
BrideDesire is liable in accordance with the general rules of Danish law and cannot limit its liability beyond what mandatory legislation permits. BrideDesire is not liable for indirect losses or consequential damages, unless required by mandatory legislation. This may include, among other things:
- loss of earnings
- lost vacation expenses
- lost hotel reservations
- lost transport expenses
- lost photographer bookings
- lost hairdressing or makeup appointments
- lost flower orders
- other indirect financial losses not caused by a defect for which BrideDesire is liable under applicable law
This provision does not limit the rights that the consumer has under applicable Danish or EU law.
33. Force majeure
BrideDesire cannot be held liable for non-performance or delayed performance of its obligations if this is due to circumstances beyond the company's reasonable control. Force majeure may include, among other things:
- natural disasters
- fire
- floods
- war
- acts of terrorism
- pandemics
- epidemics
- strikes
- lockouts
- government orders
- prolonged power outages
- cyberattacks
- significant transport disruptions
- supplier failures
- shortage of raw materials
- customs matters
- other extraordinary events that could not reasonably be foreseen or avoided
If a force majeure situation arises, BrideDesire will inform the customer as soon as possible and seek a reasonable solution.

- branding materials
The material may not be copied, published, distributed, modified, or used commercially without prior written permission from BrideDesire or the relevant rights holder.
This does not limit the customer's ordinary use of the website for the purpose of completing a purchase.
35. Personal Data

- processing orders
- delivery of goods
- customer service
- bookkeeping
- compliance with statutory obligations
