BrideDesire
Returns
A short overview of how to cancel and return. The full rules are set out in our Terms & Conditions §15–19, which always apply.
14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop at BrideDesire.com. The period runs from the day you, or a person appointed by you, receive the item. This also applies to our bridal gowns in standard sizes — including when the gown is produced after you place your order.
How to withdraw
Send us written notice at returns@bridedesire.com before the deadline. It is sufficient that the notice is sent within the 14 days. The item must then be returned no later than 14 days after you notified us, to the address we provide.
Return shipping
For an ordinary withdrawal you pay the return shipping yourself, and the return is at your own risk. We recommend secure packaging — ideally the original — and shipping with tracking and transport insurance.
BrideDesire Try-On Security Tag
Every bridal gown is delivered with our original “DO NOT REMOVE – Return Guarantee” tag. You are welcome to try the gown on as you would in a store. We recommend keeping the tag attached while trying it on, and removing it only once you have finally decided to keep the gown.
A removed tag does not in itself void your right of withdrawal or automatically lead to a return being refused. We always make an individual assessment of the condition of the item in accordance with applicable law.
Diminished value
You may examine the gown in the same way you would in a physical store. If the gown has been handled or used beyond what is necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and function, this may result in a diminished value that is deducted from the refund to the extent permitted by law.
Custom-made items
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your individual measurements or clearly personalised — for example production to your own measurements, or changes to length, sleeves, neckline, back or colour carried out specifically for you. If you buy a standard model in a standard size without individual alterations, the ordinary right of withdrawal applies.
Faults and defects (complaints)
A complaint is different from the right of withdrawal. If the item is faulty or defective, you have the rights granted by the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Write to returns@bridedesire.com as soon as possible after discovering the fault — preferably with photos and your order number. For a justified complaint, BrideDesire covers reasonable shipping costs.
