Before you order

The essentials to know regarding standard sizes XS–7XL, timeframes and payment before adding your gown to the basket.

The essentials in brief

  • The gown is selected in an available standard size XS–7XL. The delivery time is 2–4 or 8–10 weeks and is stated on the product page.
  • Select your size based on your measurements, not your regular clothing size.
  • Anticipate a local alteration, especially for the length.

1. Choose an available standard size

Your gown is selected in an available standard size XS–7XL. It is not adjusted to your measurements. The exact delivery time is either 2–4 or 8–10 weeks and is stated on the product page.

2. Choose your size based on your measurements – not your usual clothing size

Bridal gowns follow a different sizing system to everyday clothing. Measure your bust, waist and hips, and compare them with our measurement chart. If you are between two sizes, we always recommend the larger one. It is easy to take a gown in, but difficult to let it out.

3. Expect a local alteration

Almost all brides have their gown altered locally. This is especially true for the length, which depends on your shoes. Set aside a small part of your budget for this, and book a tailor well in advance of your day.

4. Order well in advance

We recommend ordering at least 4–5 months before the wedding. This allows time for shipping, delivery, alterations and a relaxed additional fitting. If you need your gown sooner, please contact us before placing your order.

5. Colour and fabric may vary slightly

Lace, pearls and handwork are never entirely identical from gown to gown. Screen colour reproduction is also not always completely accurate. If the exact colour is crucial for you, please contact us. We are happy to help describe the shade.

6. Try the gown virtually first

Our virtual try-on allows you to see yourself in the gown before making a decision. This works best with product images where the gown is shown from the front.

7. Prices, currency and payment

You can view prices in your own currency, and you pay securely at checkout. If you are shopping from outside the EU, customs and local taxes may apply. These are collected by the authorities in your country.

8. Returns and complaints

Please read the applicable rules for cancellation and return before placing your order. The full terms are found in our terms and conditions. Read them carefully before ordering, and always ask us if you are in any doubt.
